Sparkhound was established in 1998 by Shawn Usher
with one goal in mind: make an impact on client organizations by redefining how companies use technology to solve business challenges. Originally focused on servicing small to mid-sized businesses, Sparkhound quickly established core competencies that have benefited numerous enterprise-level, high-profile clients — yet, we remain fiercely committed to meeting the needs of every client, regardless of size, with the same high standards of service.
After operating from our Baton Rouge
headquarters for 11 years, we established a Houston
office in 2009 to deliver Sparkhound’s proven benefits to the Texas business marketplace. In 2011, we opened a third location to accommodate rapid company growth and new client relationships in the Dallas/Fort Worth
Today, our forward-thinking approach and service focus continue to benefit our clients and earn industry recognition. In July 2012, Sparkhound was named the Microsoft Central Region 2012 “South Central Partner of the Year” and received the 2012 Central Region Partner “Customer Loyalty and Satisfaction” Award at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference in Toronto.

Inspired by the beloved bloodhound, “hound” represents our quest to find the most efficient, powerful ways to execute those ideas.
