Sparkhound was established in January 1998 with the goal of redefining how technology services are delievered in our marketplace. Technology can create as many headaches as it solves when the wrong “solution” is used or if it is not implemented in the proper way. Sparkhound helps to resolve this problem by delivering information strategies and sound technology solutions that are based solely on the business processes of our clients.

We are often asked why we have chosen such an unusual name. Sparkhound reflects the approach we take with helping our clients achieve success:
The "spark" symbolizes a number of things in our team: First, a spark often represents an idea. The spark also stands for technology itself. Through our technology consulting and solution-driven approach, we provide our clients with ideas on how to best implement technology in their business.
The second part of our name is derived from "bloodhound". Like a bloodhound, the Sparkhound is solely focused on helping our clients find the solutions they are looking for in the area of technology. Our clients have used Sparkhound to implement technologies in the areas of web & software design, technology outsourcing, and systems networking.
