Sparkhound today announced it's acquisition of Redmond-based Bloom Consulting and Project Management Group's application development division. The acquisition furthers Sparkhound's commitment to growth as a consulting and IT solutions provider within the Microsoft ecosystem.
The two companies have been strategically partnered for the past two years with Sparkhound's CEO, Shawn Usher, recently joining Bloom's Board of Advisors in 2015. The acquisition is a natural evolution of an already successful relationship. The Bloom team will benefit from Sparkhound's deep expertise and IT capabilities in application development to support it's enterprise customers.
"Our application development partnership with the team at Bloom has benefitted both organizations and most importantly, made a meaningful impact on our clients. We aim to continue the trend and support our current growth momentum," stated Shawn Usher, CEO of Sparkhound LLC.
Sparkhound will assume the current application development workload and associated intellectual property as part of the deal. Bloom will continue to operate its consulting and project management practice in Redmond, WA. Sparkhound recently announced its expansion with a new office in Birmingham, AL. The 200-person company operates locations in Baton Rouge, LA, Dallas and Houston, TX.
