Baton Rouge, La. – Today, Sparkhound was recognized as the "Company of the Year" (in the 100+ employee category) by the Baton Rouge Business Report in its 30th annual Business Awards and Hall of Fame. The awards honor the individuals and companies that have made an impact on the greater Baton Rouge business community.
"The ‘Company of the Year’ award is truly an honor as we kick off the 15 year anniversary celebration of providing IT services in our community," said Sparkhound President and CEO Shawn Usher. "The credit truly goes to our employees for their commitment to technical excellence and delivering exceptional customer service. Our recent recognitions wouldn’t be possible without them."
Stephenson Entrepreneurship Institute Associate Director Jarett Rodriguez nominated Sparkhound for the award. Nominations are reviewed and selected by the Business Awards & Hall of Fame selection committee that is comprised of a small group of local business leaders. To be considered for the “Company of the Year” award, businesses must:
Have a top free enterprise achievement during the past year
Be based or have major operations in the greater Baton Rouge area
Award winners and hall of fame inductees will be profiled in the March 5 issue of Business Report and honored at the 30th annual Business Awards and Hall of Fame awards banquet, presented by Business Report and Junior Achievement. The event will be held on Tuesday, March 19, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
